^ And this does happen, you're right. However it's easier to remove a suit jacket than it is to magically make one appear. Suit, always, it's a rule.

Fair enough lol

Well that was the shortest interview ever! Arrived 15 mins early at 1:45, Interview started at 1:55, out at 2:04. Went well and they will let me know by tuesday/wednesday.

Wore a shirt, trousers, tie and a waistcoat :)

Lucky you, I had a 45 min interview with the director of ITV Sport and still didn't get the job!

This was a different interview!

Yesterdays was with the senior director of Premier PR who run campaigns for 127 hours / Inception etc

Didn't get it :( Probably would have helped if I had a vagina. PR seems 70% women!

Bad luck, but you can learn from this. Next time wear a suit and a strap-on vagina.

Do you mean PR or HR?

I loathe HR with a passion. I don't want to be judged on my ability to do a job by somebody who doesn't do that job, particuarly when they are challenging you with silly and meaningless tests that probably don't reflect a candidate's true ability.

Sorry to hear you didn't get it, something will come up!

Not sure how helpful this is; but my girlfriend got offered a job at Superdry and they told her to wear what she was wearing when she handed in her CV for her first day, as they liked her "style". Superdry do seem very keen on people with their own look.

The "interview" she had was very informal as well.
