Given that I'm just about to receive a nice insurance payout, I'll probably be getting the underside undersealed at some point, may as well protect it :)

Underside isnt so bad, its the sills, 1st thing to do is to clear the drain holes (by the 4 jacking points on the sills) the sills are a **** design really, they will go by the rear arch, fortunately it isnt a hard job.

Mine was hideous to drive in the snow/ice. Absolutely no traction at all on icy side-roads. I only had to drive to have the supercharger fitted, the rest of the time it stayed at home. But then I do have Eagle F1s fitted, probably would have faired better with more 'all weather' tyres!

I'd best get some practice in :D

Well, picked it up today - quickly nipped to the Post Office to tax it, and away we went!

The verdict...OMGFUN :D

Handles so well, I now get why people rave about these, and very controllable oversteer too

I'll be posting a "Work Log" thread soon - first job is the cambelt and service, so watch this space.

Big thanks to Howard for all the advice and egging on he's given me :D

Small update - may as well keep it in this thread!

No pics I'm afraid, but then I'm not exactly doing anything groundbreaking :p

Changed the cambelt yesterday, nice and simple job, really wasn't a hassle at all - most difficult bit was levering the crank pulley off! Also, changed a piece of interior trim earlier today, and temporarily fixed the gearstick gaitor until my new leather one arrives.

Unfortunately had a small knock last week - was in a word of my own and I went into the back of someone else - no harm done, the other bloke wasn't bothered as his car was a scrapper too :D

So a new front bumper needed, but I was going to replace it anyway (along with the sidelight lens :o, so no harm done :)
