where do u guys and girls think his next club will be. most of the gossips seems to be inclined towards inter milan. althogh inter milan are a good team in the italian league i dont think they are at a high level in europe, but hey look what he did with porto.

i believe he will be going to either real madrid or a slight chance of going 2 barcelona, if he does go to real madrid i feel sorry for Bernd Schuster whos done a good job there racing away with the title with barcelona no where 2 been seen.

thats the problem with these big clubs the expections are so high.

peace out

I don't think he'll go to Madrid or Barcelona simply for the reasons above - neither are really "stable" positions, no matter what you achieve.

Real yes but not Barca. Joan Laporta has been excellent for Barca and if the job becomes available (which is likely) then im sure that would be JM's first choice.

Other than that it would be either AC or Inter.

Surely if Mourinho goes to Madrid or Barcelona, he'll face exactly the same problems he did at Chelsea?

He was constantly under fire from Abramovich (according to the press) for not playing attractive, stylish football. And what have Schuster and Capello and the likes learnt about Spanish fans? They loathe boring, defensive football with a a passion. He'd just end up in the same situation he was over here, and I don't think he's stupid enough not to see that himself.

So Italian football management seems like a match made in heaven to me.

I can see him at manyoo when Taggart goes ;)
He'll actually go?! I wouldn't be suprised to see him die on the touchline in ten years time at the rate he keeps extending his contract. :p

I don't understand what you mean here, Laporta has been exellent? has he? Also, why do say not Barca and then the job is likely to become available, and if it does then Mourinho will get the job.

I've read that three times and I'm still not sure I understand quite what you're saying, but here goes.

BaZ said "not Barca" because the post he quoted was saying he wouldn't go there. It's called a double negative ;) - BaZ thinks he would go there given the chance. Also, Laporta is the president of the club, not the manager.

I know that :p That's one of the things that confused me, it was just from reading his post that I thought he was saying Laporta was manager (which I understand he obviously doesn't.

Also, my point on Laporta was that whilst he hasn't been really bad he hasn't exactly been really great. He should've found a replacement for Ronaldinho much earlier and sacked Rijkaard prior to this season (although hindsight is a wonderful thing).

Also, I would like to add I was drunk when I made my last post so that's probably why I am unintelligle. :p
