For a few months now, I have been looking to get a Mondeo Titanium X with the 2.5L engine. The main reason for this choice was because of how cheap they can be bought and because for the past few years, I had been driving my dad's MK3 1.8L Zetec and I loved it so it was only fitting that the replacement be another Mondeo. I wanted something more upmarket and this seemed to fit the bill.
The main problem was actually finding one that was in good condition. The cheaper ones (£5000-£7000) lacked a Sat Nav, which in my opinion transforms the interior, and the more expensive ones were just too expensive for what they offered. One I saw near Slough was near over £8500 and didn't have much in the form of extras, and another I saw in Reading had a tear in the leather upholstery. Meanwhile during my search, I stumbled on a Titanium X Sport which seemed to have everything I wanted but the only problem was that it was 210 miles away. Eventually, after the car had been on the market for three weeks, I decided to go see it (after many phone calls to the dealer to make sure the car was in good shape and had FFSH).
When I finally saw it in the flesh, it put the biggest smile on my face and a few checks later, I bought the car for £8990. I realise it's only a Mondeo but to me, it just seems perfect for what I need it for.
Bar a couple of niggles that have now been sorted by Ford, the car is excellent. In terms of extra options, apart from TVs at the back, I can't think of anything it doesn't have.
So here it is, my first car:

Special thanks to my brother DB_SamX who helped clean it and take the pictures. The sun was out and wasn't helping...
