An innocuous stub of the little toe during a Judo session leads to this:

Broken toe and possible metatarsel too :(, off for an x-ray tomorrow. I have only really in the last month or 2 got to a point i could say i was very fit. Running 10k in ok times, being able to last whole football games and judo sessions at full pace and being able to to loads of pressups and situps. Now i have to wait 6 weeks to do anything else.

Any suggestions to how i can keep in shape for the 6 weeks, obviously sit ups and press ups are ok but is there anything i can do cardio wise?

Looks ok to me, just strap it to your big toe and you'll be fine :p

Swimming?

Rowing could be in the equation if you can manage the steper I imagine. I've never broken my foot so wouldn't know what you can and can't do I'm affraid!

Wish you a speedy recovery!

swimming?

Know what you mean though..
I'm probably gonna have to have an op on my shoulder after getting decent weightlifting improvements etc.. shame as well as I can't really do running for fitness, but I can do cycling and swimming which need two shoulders really, which I won't have during the recovery period.. :o

Exercise bike? Costly though if you don't have one and you will probably have discomfort if doing it in shoes due to your toe pressing against the top cap, maybe sandals? :D
