Just bought a new XFX 7900GT...................

I have benchmarked it with 3DMark 2001.

Does this look about right for this card..

ABIT Fatility 939 board.

AMD 64bit 4400mhz Dual Core cpu

2 Gbyte Corsair TwinX Matched memory pair.

I have never overclocked in my life before..

About right i'd say, 05 score looks fine, and 2001 is not a graphics test so to speak, yes your card will affect it but its mainly an overall system test, and again i'd say that looks about right for a stock system

I am sure I got a lot more with My BFG 7800GT in 3dmark 05 at stock - and it was the 06 figure that was around that score........... I will have to look when I get home

I think you're getting confused there, 9.6k is a pretty solid 7900GT scorein 05.

I seriously doubt that that is a very good 05 score,an average 7800GT score would have been below 8k, mine was (and is) 8.2k while OCed.

Don't bother benchmarking the latest cards with 3dmark01 it doesn't really show anything.
