Just bought a Motherboard set for £250 never been used
MSI MPG Z390 gaming edge AG
i7 9700 (none k )
32gb DDR 4
The feller was selling up as he's he had retired and was going to live on his barge as he wanted to get away from all this covid stuff.
Just wanted to know could anyone recommend a case and a graphic card for gaming that would be best for this setup. I do have a 1000w power supply but what's a better option than that. Thankss

It as the basic stock heat sink and fan on it at the moment so think the cooler would be somthing to look at again I've got a couple of sata drives there and got a M.2 coming soon at the moment my budget for the graphic card is £300 but I can keep building on that

Depends on resolution and the games you play, that system will keep up alright with anything, but a 3060 or 3060 Ti would be plenty for 1080p or 1440p/60.

I don't mind waiting and putting the rest of the money away. How much am I looking to spend and what cards would I best go for.
I haven't messed with pc for a long time and what to get a new build

To be honest not really it's somthing I haven't really thought about it I suppose the best I can really. Something that can take advantage of my 4k TV and future monitor and maybe vr as the vr on my ps5 not the best

For playing newer stuff at 4K you're looking at 3080 levels of performance, so we're talking anywhere from 600 - 1000+ if you can find anything high-end in stock.

If you can wait then do so for the 3080 there are 3070 available but 4k the 3080 is better.

Case do you like rgb lights ?

Budget for case and cooler.

1080 will do 1440p gaming also the lack of warranty always bothers me but if you cant wait then try £250 but there going for more on the bay.

What's your thoughts ?
