Just bought the MS wheel... did I do the right thing?

I bought it for £75 but I don't really know that much about it.

How's the force feedback?
Does it have much "play" (looseness) with it and does it develop over time?
What's the quality like?
Worth £75?
how big is the clamp?

Well I've got the wheel. does anyone else wobble slightly where the steering wheel meets the white base unit? also the motors make a lot of noise when I turn the wheel and there is no power, is this also normal?

Forza 2 is great fun and PGR3 is something else with the wheel, I'm now almost half way on platinum
