i hope im allowed to put this up... (if not then please accept my appols and close, no offence intended)

basically ive had to direct a couple off people esle where now as they wanted asrock boards, id much rather they bought them from OCUK, but untill OCUK decides to stock them there isnt much to be done.

so i was wondering... who here has had a good experience with Asrock, and do you want to see OCUK stock them ?

my first asrock was a 939 dual, fantastic board for the price and it had exactly the right features for me, good clocking, passive northbridge, good price, AGP and PCI-E.

any one else want to wade in ?

Just ordered an e6300, quite fancy the conroeXfire as a budget board as I haven't a lot of cash to play with.

Have a gecube x1600 that will crossfire without a master card and 2xadata ddr2-6400 sticks.

hmmm... i found 3 under "other" its not much of a range though and they are the older boards... :( there are a lot of Nforce 4 Asrock mobo`s now.

now you see, a lot of folks on here think Asrock are "budget" boards, whilst i would say they are the best option for people on a budget, they fit quite neatly into the "midrange" bracket of boards. i just wish more people would give them a go :)

hell if you want a budget board go for jetway, they have a tedency to catch fire...

Maddness is posting in another thread that his 'retail' ConroeXFire-eSATAII board will only allow a very small overclock (266->300FSB) and I think the crossfire support is limited to certain cards only as the second slot is an AGI (I don't know what that is, but it's possibly not a straightforward PCIe x4 or I would think they would say that).

I had a Asrock dual sata2 board, when I had my x2 3800+. I think Asrock are a very good deal as far as motherboards are concerened, interesting waht conroe boards are like with them.

Get em in ocuk.

damn..that is such a shame

be patient!! :) either someone will make a bios to give you what you want or asrock will come out with an official bios that does what you want after a couple of revisions, no need to worry :)

I'd be happy to get a ASRock board (with dual channel ram) which allowed me to hit 3ghz so i guess i'll wait on this one :D Seems a decent one too, with the xfire option.
