I can thoroughly reccomend these 3 if you havent read them already!

A good bit of crime/fiction, just a shame we wont be reading anymore from the same author.

Anyone else enjoy them?

I've read the trilogy and really enjoyed them all, it does end leaving you wanting more though.

Word has it he intended to write as many as ten. Here's partial work for a further three, I think, so maybe someone will ghostwrite them to completion.

Seen the first film and really enjoyed it.

Not got round to watching the other two, but supposedly they're not as good.

I have seen all three movies and they are very-very good. Much better than anything Hollywood flogs in any good year.

I think they are going to remake the first with Daniel Craig as Blomkvist, sure I read somewhere.
Might have to check out the originals, are they subbed, or dubbed?

I thought the second and third film seemed rushed compared to the first.

Going to get the books as I was left a little dissapointed comapred to the first.

The one I saw was subbed, but I think you could set it to play a dubbed soundtrack.

Dubbing is for illiterates.

i have read all three as well, its a shame that there will be no more, unless those other drafts are ghost written, but will it be the same?

i really enjoyed them

Fantastic books. Real shame we won't see any more, though at least we got a nice defined trilogy out of Larsson before he copped it. He deserves the legacy. :)

The blatant author "check me out, I'm shagging everyone " insertion did make me laugh though.

Which order do these go in?

About to buy the 3 movies, but don't want to ruin the order :D

Has anyone seen them?

It's even better than that. Bear in mind that Larsson was a left-wing journalist working for a small campaigning magazine. Now note that Blomquist is a left-wing journalist writing for a small campaigning magazine, who always gets the best stories, goes to prison over a principle, makes a lot of money for his magazine, is in an open relationship so that he can also bed all the other women. Short of winning the lottery (and living to old age) I think every one of his wishes must be in there.

goes to prison over a principle,
On a side note, he goes to prison over a mistake, not a principle. ;)

I loved the books though, I thought they were all great, even if the end of the last one was a touch weak. But I watched the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and thought it wasn't that great. I didn't bother with the others. :o

Just a word of advice, if you're going to watch the movies, watch them in the original Swedish with subtitles. The English dubbing is awful.

Of course

Akira is the only thing I watch with the English dub, purely because I'm accustomed to their crappy voices :D
