I did and that was after a Chrome warning too, I just assumed MSE would deal with any threats

I've deleted all the app data from my profile and can now get back into the original

Do you need Java?

Get rid of it if you don't. It's a pain in the backside keeping it up to date and secure.

Since this virus, I have deactivated java in firefox.
