It was brilliant! Best night out, in terms of music, I have ever had. So we all paid a £5 deposit to us headphones that tuned into two DJ's. They both played amazing tunes, one was kind of indie/rocky and the other was hip hop/DnB/garage/house (pretty much just club tunes).

There are certain rules that are quickly learned in a silent disco like: If everyone starts shouting/screaming there's probably a brilliant song on the other channel! It's quite cool to be able to dance with your friends who have the opposite taste in music to you.

All in all, I had a really good night and would recommend a silent disco to anyone!

That sounds pretty fun, strangely. I'd quite like to go to one now. Must be weird if you take off the headphones and see everyone dancing with no apparent music!

Clubs are usualy fail, silent disco would only be fun after 8 beers. The fact they call it disco is a bit pathetic, they should just rename it something like SexFest, something that doesn't make it seem like it is full of 12 year olds.

As opposed to something that makes it seem like it is full of rapists.

Plymouth Uni had one in their SU a few months back, my mate and I must have been the only people in there with no headphones on, it was certainly strange to see what its like to be deaf!

I feel sorry for all the people replying in this thread that hate the idea of clubs. Just because this is a computer forum doesn't mean that we are all socially awkward retards that can't enjoy a good time.
Silent discos are a novel, and fun thing. Best night ever, I disagree but certainly good fun for the novelty value if nothing else.

Some of you guys are so closed minded! Lighten up, it's just a bit of fun, nice to let your hair down once in a while.

I'm not actually the biggest fan of nightclubs as it goes. I think it depends on the people you are with. Also having the choise of two different styles of music was amazing, if there was rubbish on one channel you were guaranteed a tune on the other!

Alcohol does help but it's not essential for a night out. I was pretty much sober for most of my night last night but still danced the night away. Could also order a drink at the bar without shouting =D win!

I feel sorry for all the people replying against those who don't like the idea of clubs. Just because this is a computer forum doesn't mean that we are all socially awkard reatards that must jump on a bandwagon and do what other people say we must do because their definition of a good time is different from ours.

I don't hate nightclubs. But I do depise UK nightclubs.

I don't despise nightclubs, I despise the clientele. Which usually means at chucking out time we have to deal with some **** clump called Wayne (he has it tattooed on his forearm incase he forgets it) who kicks off because he thinks someone is giving his scabby bird the evils. And usually they are because she's covered in her own sick and ****.

You could just go to different clubs. And don't say the customer base of every single nightclub is like that, because it is not.

I do go to different nightclubs. But those nights tend to cater to a completely different audience. There's not many who're into breakcore/darkstep nights where I live. The clientele of more "mundane" run of the mill highstreet clubs catering to the mainstream, attract **** clumps.
