For those who don't know, this is when you get a fibre optic tube shoved down your throat into your stomach so the doctors can have a look inside.

Beforehand I didn't realise that thay filled you with air to 'blow up' your stomach or that the tube was so damn thick. They said that I might gag a bit as it goes in but not that I would vomit continuously for what felt like five minutes. I even got sick in my ear. Wasn't the best experience.

I've not much else to say on the subject, I'm just looking for someone to share my pain. :(

I offer you good price for PAIN that you offer recent on EBAY?

TWO HUNDRED DOLLAR excellent offer please.

Respond with great gratitude, loving attention. Many thankings

How on earth did you get vomit in your ear?
Did it somehow go into your nose, then fly out of your ear?
I think the nose is connected to the ear anyway

Yep, never believe a word that doctors say. They told me that my discolated elbow would simply pop back in and I'd experience a short sharp pain.

Yeah right, I nearly left the hospital via the ceiling.

It's like in the cartoons, where the character is eating something really spicy and gets steam blowing from his ears. Likewise, he got barf going through his ears... :p

the sensation of gagging is not nice. However i do like the sensation after ones been vomiting violently. when your completly out of energy and curl up in a ball and sleep for a week. :p

They lie you on your side so if you are sick you don't choke and it came out my mouth and ran round the side of my face. Plus it was all over the bed so I was just genrally rubbing my face in it.

Couldn't have cared less at the time and be LOL's all round to those who mock when they get a turn. ;) They get everybody in the (sometimes rear) end!!!

Yes its true, dont trust Doctors. I was having my leg in plaster due to a wound that needed stitches on my knee after a motorbike accident; I was told I was being given oxygen. Obviously I knew it was nitrous oxide to knock me out.

I was about 20 at the time, not a kid obviously after coming off a motorbike.

Why would you need knocked out to get a plaster cast?

You did take the sedative right?
No, they said I could have it but probably wouldn't need it and after it the nurse said people are generally worse with the sedative as they just don't listen to their instructions at all.

lol, I feel for you. I had to have a pipe shoved up my nasal passage and then down my throat so they could have a proper look about. They told me there might be slight discomfort...

It was actually so painful and uncomfortable I almost cried, the gits! (I was about 11 or 12 at the time though)! :o
