£275 for a days work plus a tenner for some touch up paint to deal with some of the more epic stone chips. I could've gone a whole lot further and had them respray everything, deal with the little dents it has (GF dropped my disclok on the rear quarter, really hard to fix) but it starts to get silly. This is enough.
In two weeks time, that car is 17 years old, that's older than some people who post on this forum.
It's actually quite funny. When I bought that car I was going to use it for business trips and wanted something that would perform well but that I could leave in a Bradford hotel car park and it still be there in the morning. Nobody has ever paid it any attention. I now have a company car so this is a non issue, hence the detailing.
Turned quite a few heads on my trip home from the detailers.
