Just made the switch to X99

Got an ASUS X99-Deluxe, 5820k and 16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum CL10 arriving tomorrow. The CPU will be cooled by an EK Predator 360 so temps should be good.

I'm aware X99 overclocking is a little different to the other platform, anyone got some pointers on where to start?

Got a J batch chip, currently running AIDA64 at 4.5ghz 1.285v with 2400mhz 10-12-12-28-2T Corsair Dominator Platinums

Max temp so far is 66c, got an EK Predator 360 cooling the CPU.

This was a very quick overclock no voltage settings messed with just had to set the RAM to 2400mhz as the XMP profile runs it at 2133 for some reason, voltages and everything left as default under the asus optimal performance preset. It may go lower

I seen your post in the other thread, you may be able to get around the same out of yours if you can do 4.5ghz at 1.219v.
