Because they aren't exactly the best cars money can buy, and they depreciate like a stone.

White wheels = GT usually.

And brand new C2, thats unfortunate.

I learnt my lesson after a brand new Saxo VTR.

My one and only new car was a Peugeot 106XSi and I too learnt my lesson the hard way, although at least I managed to sell it 2 years later for 70% of what I paid, which I thought wasn't half bad!

Hey!

Nice purchase! I have got an 06 plate C2 Design (1.4i) I was going to go for the VTS but decided to get something smaller as i have access to fast cars when ever i want.

I love it, i mean really love it. I have had mine for a few months now. I LOVE how they look. They handle REALLY well, I have got the VTR alloys on mine which i had fitted before i picked it up. I have driven lots of small cars and this car is brilliant at gripping at speed round corners. 48MPG is good too :)

No problems with mine so far, except the sproing on the flippy key broke, all fixed under warranty though. The VTS will rev all the way to 9k and has got good pickup when moving. They are 1.6 16v 125BHP IIRC.

Enjoy it like i enjoy mine. Best car i have ever owned and im not bored of it yet either which is odd for me.

Get yourself to www.c2club.co.uk I have been to a couple of meets which are good fun, Go-Karting days, having a blaze around cpuntry lanes, etc. Best place for advice too as Citroen employees go on there too.

Post some pics when you get it!

Lay off with the car snob attitude you lot. Yes, he probably could have got a better value for money car for cheaper but maybe that isn't what he wanted.

Congratulations on the new car. :)

Not my cup of tea but if you get 3 years insurance and servicing in the deal make sure you thrash the hell out of it :O

got it all for £174 per month

So a brand new C2 VTS with insurance and servicing for the 3 years only cost you £6264 in total!!??

That's a damn good deal.
