I've just done a fresh reinstall of my XP partition, I typed in my Product Key and apparently I've done it too many times and it won't let me activate my Windows. I have done a few reinstalls but didn't realise how many I've actually done. Now I'm stuck using an unactivated Windows system and don't know how to get round the problem.

Does anyone have any advice and/or suggestions as to either get a new Product Key without having to buy a new Windows CD or to get my current activated legally?

Thanks,
Alex

Yeah I've done that. Give them a phone and they will either give you a new product key that you can use in future or just give you some more activations with your current key. :)

You've just exceeded the automated/online activation limit. Just phone them and they will give you an activation number :)

You do to activate it. I use it . . . And i have to phone microsoft coz ive changed so much in my system. So it definatly warrants a

Just call the number in the activation window and follow the telephone instructions. If it fails on that one, just try it again but type in random numbers a few times so you get transferred to a customer service representative, they'll be able to do it for you.
