I'm driving the Mazda today, there is a couple of inches of snow lying and no evidence of grit or salt. Slippy................. and not the ideal weather to be road-testing and photographing a freshly painted cortina

Yard is covered (and very cold)

I'm pretty pleased with how it looks, kinda original/period and not at all revealing the sting in the tail....

until you look under the hood ;D

Test drive will have to wait. Snow + RWD + 120ish BHP + 900kg car? Not likely! I just spent 6 months on that bodywork!!

I had a 2dr Mk2 1600GT Tina back in the day. Deep maroon, de badged etc. Used to drive that in All weathers but if i had it now i would keep it indoors, I Loved that car.
His is Gorgeous but it's a shame it hasn't got a Crossflow in it, Just for posterity reasons of course :)
Lovely car & for me the Best you've ever posted

I absolutely love that.

Cracking motor there.

Always fancied a Lotus Cortina but the missus would kill me if I bought one ( or at least make me sell the bike ).

A 1600GT I could probably get away with though.....

/runs off to the Bay of E's Motor section to daydream....:D

Lotus tinas are overrated.

A nice example with a Zetec is a good, usable everyday classic.
