Just upgraded some parts- is my PSU enough?

So I now have a 2600x (cooled with an H110i) with 16gb ram with two r9 290's cooled with H55's.

My current PSU is a Corsair RM850.

I just looked (using a wall monitor) and it's saying when in The Witcher 3 I'm drawing 1100 Watts!

Does this seem realistic and should I trust this reading?

Would going from a 2600k to a 2600x really have made this much of a difference?

Cheap power meters can show unreliable readings...
But already reference 290 is quite power hungry and factory overclocked non-reference R9 290 can be among the most power consuming cards:

And any further manual overclocking of cards could increase max consumption notably.
Also if CPU is overlocked we could be looking at toward 200W max draw for other parts besides GPUs.

So if you've overclocked everything wouldn't consider that wall reading that impossible.
