Just got myself an Xbox 360, loving it so far but I'm having similar problems with it to what I had with my cube.
On my JVC wide screen the bottom is cut off slightly and the top of the image his a thin black bar on it, it was the same with the gamecube except this one on the sides and the top left (the image isn't perfectly straight on my TV, it's slightly angled... I had originally thought it may have been magnetic pull from my sub woofer but I put it on the other side of the TV and nothing changed)
I can live with it just thought I may as well ask if any one has any ideas, I can't find an option to change the alignment of the picture on the Xbox dashboard (some individual games have the option though) and the only way you can change the height of the picture on the TV is if you go into one of the zoom modes which knack the picture and cut bits of it off...
16:9 and 4:3 have no such option.
being able to lift the image up even only a few pixels would fix it, it's not a dead pixel issue, anamorphic DVDs and zoom modes fill it up.
What are HD LCD TVs like, are they plagued by slightly bent pictures? Will the Dominions of the TV be bigger than what the component cables output... as seems to be the case with my 360?
I'd love to hear your experience, though I doubt I will be able to afford an HD TV for a while... unless I sell this one...
(and probably my neglected drum kit I haven't been able to play for 2 years...
