K750i Orange SMS help

Hey all

Got this phone in december, and it's been fine since.

However, in the last week or so, i've been unable to send text messages. The phone just brings back an error message saying "Sending Failed".

Now this confuses me, as nothing has changed, and the SMS feature was working beforehand.

I've tried both of the orange sms centre numbers, and neither work.

Anything else i can try?

PAYG or Contract?

Cos you might just have run out of credit or something silly like that

PAYG and have £15 credit

Edit: I can use opera mini and make phone calls, just not texts

Sounds like you need a sim update from Orange

Give Orange customer support a ring, they will send your updates to your phone within 24 hours.

its 450 for payg or 150 if you pay monthly

Take a look at THIS thread.

The info there sorted out my picture messaging problems on my K750i on Orange.

I know you are saying you cant send ordinary text messages but I'm assuming its the same with your ability to send picture messages, could be related and there might be something contained in or around the pages the links in the thread above that will assist?.
