K800i dodgy signal

Just got Sony Ericsson K800i on Orange and it seems a pretty good phone apart from it has appauling signal as it keeps dropping signal even in a high strength area, it reminds me of my T610 from a while ago, I thought sony had sorted this as I never had such problems with my K700i, K750i, W810i.
Anyone else noticed the signal problems or have I just got a dodgy one???

and dont you think SE should have put good headphones in the box along with a memory card .. :mad:

Not got mine yet so I can't say about the Signal!.

The 'K' Series Phones are aimed at being Cameras!... The 'W' Series are Music players... So Decent Phones ar'nt on a Camera persons list!... though I agree with the memory card point!...

Luckily I've got a W800i which i'll pass to the wife and swap phones so I can keep my HPM-70's...
 
Do you mean a 3G signal? I keep loosing my 3G signal in an area where its meant to be very strong!
 
Yes it is the 3g signal . As when i was playing about with it a bit later i discovered that if i put it in 2g the signal is very strong . So must be just 3g signal is very dodgy and the phone is fine.
Also in the orange getting started book it says the phone comes with a 512mb card so will give them a ring over it and see if i can get one off them
