I have become fortunate enough to land myself a bit of a casual job selling photos at a Karting Circuit near where I live. Basically I have access to the circuit and I am allowed to sell photos through my web-site and also via viewing stations at the track.

Done 2 Sundays now and these are a few I have picked out as favourites, comments very welcome:

I figured the only way I am going to truly learn how to shoot great Motorsport photos is to be by starting at the bottom and work my way up. Pleased with how its gone so far and there is a big event coming up in a couple of weeks that hopefully I will make quite a tidy sum of money from.

yep, nothing wrong with those :) Just out of interest do you find that the karters are a lot less fussy about the quality of shots than you are?

So far yes. The main feature many of the ones I seem to be selling is as long as it shows a sense of speed, or the kart is doing something interesting (like wheel off the ground) then they will make a purchase.

Regular front on shots work for corporate events and for small kids, but the owner drivers want something different.
