My KIS is due for renewal soon, and the cheapest way to go seems to be OEM for £18. But! With retail version, you get free upgrades to the latest version, I've read something about OEM not being entitled to free upgrades?

Has anyone with an OEM license moved from KIS7 to KIS8 (2009) for free?

excuse me if im wrong KIS retail is £40 last time i checked OEM is £14 so just buy it each year :P also the oem i purchased from ocuk was 2009

I need the 3 user license, so it's £18 at OCUK (pretty much same everywhere else).
Can get a 3 user renewal for £26.59. Just thinking if they release a newer version soon, I'd be better just paying £26.59 instead of £17.22 at ocuk.

Can't remember if its KIS or just the AV off the top of my head but barclays has (last time I checked) a 3 user license for free from a link in their online banking.
It even has the windows mobile version available :)

if you renew for other year then yes you get free new software version when it come out as long as you keep the same software licence you bought it - example if you bought KIS 2009 or KAV2009 for 1 year expire to 2010 then you get free upgrade new software version like KIS 2010/KAV2010 that may come up this year.

OEM sometime wont let you upgrade new software but it will work fine -- i would buy online from Kaspersky site (I used Kaspersky site with 30% discount also got 2 years renew licence with 50% discount for me and dad)...
