If she had used the statistic correctly, ie that 59.5 refers to heathly years rather than life expectancy, then it could have been quite witty and not particularly offensive. But never mind. That said, she is the classic example of the type of person who should not only be starved the oxygen of publicity but should also be starved the oxygen of oxygen.
