KB and mouse dont work in bios???

So i know your thinking they must be usb 3 and need the os but...... the kb hitting del gets me into the bios but once up, it and the mouse wont work. whats wierder still is that it was proviously working fine.

errr any ideas?????

okay turns out that changing the usb sockets made them owrk, wierd but whatever

Might be worth consulting the motherboard manual, not all the USB ports are nessesarily the same specification.

they vary in spec but it was odd taht it worked to hit del and get into the bios, but then wouldnt work.
