Keep getting disconnected in BF2142 demo

I can play for between 2-10 minutes and then it says I lost connection to EA server or something.

I'm running XP sp2 and use a router for my broadband.

Any ideas?

If you have a dual core CPU, make sure you set affinity to one core in task manager... well thats what fixed my issue anyway.

You'd think they would have fixed all this crap, but it just goes to show that the engine is basically the same as the BF: 2 one. :rolleyes:

I had this problem also, try turning off the EAX option and the voip option, and in the internet connection settings put it to 256k and above, NOT T1.
That fixed the problem for me, although I still occasionally get disconnected from the EA server, but that's an issue with EA's server overloading and there's nothing that can be done about it by us mere mortals.
