Keeping a chair still on a hard floor

I'm shortly going to be moving to a house where my computer will be in a house with a hard floor.

I play a fair bit of racing games, with a steering wheel attached to a GT Omega stand. On carpet, my office chair just about stays still while driving, unless I get a little carried away during a stressful moment. But on a hard floor, surely it will just rocket backwards?

Anyone dealing with the problem already, and have a suggested solution? I was looking for lockable castors, but haven't found any yet.

Hard floor, yes, the average chair wheel is totally unsuitable for a hard floor. Incidentally you can buy replacement soft wheels from most places, but in your case I would suggest a using a barrier mat. They are basically a thin carpet with rubber backing. The rubber side grips the floor and provides cushioning for hard chair wheels. The carpet side slows down the movement of the chair. They come in all sorts of colours and different sizes. You can get them from ebay or amazon.
