I know most of you won't need this, but in the last several months, I created a spreadsheet that shows my monthly outgoings, what I am paying off, when it will be completed and how much I can budget my self... Along side a few others.

I was just wondering if there is any interest in this for anyone? It has helped me out greatly and has taken a while to get the spreadsheet to work well (not that great of a excel user).

If there is interest, I will try upload a raw version with a info file for people to use so they know what to do.

I have gone from spending every last penny I had to putting £300 into a instant savings (allowance more like) account that is my monthly budget. The rest sits in my other account but is there when I need it.

Not only have I started ignoring my extra money, but I am also spending much more wisely.

Anyway, if anyone would like to give it a shot, let me know and I will upload it :)

EDIT: File hosted thanks to platypus

Here is Ice on Fire's spreadsheet, fantastic with a very in-depth calculation system.

I would be quite interested in this because i have just started uni so it would be good to see all my out goings and earnings. I was thinking about doing something like this but never got round to doing it. You could possibly just email the excel spreadsheet?

yep, would be interested to have a look at least, one of those things I know I should do but never really get around to.

As you guys said above... I finally got round to it! I will include a screen dump of mine, just so you get an idea of what I am doing.

Don't judge the pay :P

edit: let me finish off my morning checks, that the server room isn't on fire and all that, then I will get into writing a guide then upload it. Anyone know any decent fileshares that are free? I could stick it on my public ftp... Hmm

Please!

I'm going to have to create one of these for the GF on Wed night and you may have just saved me the trouble. At the very least it will make the process a lot easier :)

Right, nothing but Hobb's and little children being eaten in the server room, so all hunky dory, well get started on the guide :)

I'm happy to host it for you.

i did this before i went travelling to clear debt and maximise savings. Lost the spreadsheet ages ago. Wouldn't mind another one to help me get out of debt from the afetrmath of travelling haha.

I usually spend a whole night once a month working all this out because i hand write it into a notepad and my little one scribbles all over it, this would be highly appreciated :D
And I now have a board in the kitchen to pin it to yaaay heh

+1 for interest. Many thanks for sharing your work cant wait to get it

Anyone mind uploading it for me?

Can't get into my ftp for some reason, at least not till I am home.

This would be great, I spend way too much money on going out and would like to actually have some money in my account for a rainy day. :)

Myself and my girlfriend did a Excel spreadsheet a few months back, as we both have debts and recently she moved in we thought it would be a good idea. It certainly helps us out every month. The most awkward part is that I get paid 4 weekly and she's a monthly paid day. We eventually got it sorted. Now we have every last penny accounted for pretty much,.

That said I would be interested in the OP's budget..
