Khan vs Maidana

I'm definitely not forking out £15 for this fight. I think UFC124 will be much more exciting GSP to win that.

will wait and watch it on Sunday morning instead (the boxing)
 
The only thing that excites me about this fight is that I see it as his first real BIG test. Maidana seems to KO everything he touches, and although I think Khan should be able to outbox him all night long, IF Maidana connects I want to see if Khan can recover from it and carry on boxing. I am not Amir Khans biggest fan, he was way too overhyped early in his career but the Prescott KO seems to have steadied him and he is a different fighter now. I hope he outboxes Maidana and then KO's him in the middle/late rounds.

I don't see it as a big test at all, at least not in Boxing terms. Test of his chin sure but Maidana is crude and raw and can be outboxed. Ortiz should have cruised to victory against him but decided to bang it out and lost.

I remember the Khan vs Mayweather fairytale popping up numerous times, but that only popped up because it was assumed Pacquiao would retire from his last fight against Margarito, but he's carrying on for a few more years so there is no way Khan will fight Mayweather before Pacquiao whilst Manny is still about.

Khan needs more high profile fights under his belt in the US before he can take on Mayweather, i like watching him fight, but he still needs to condition himself more.

Let's nip this in the bud - Pacquiao or Mayweather chew Khan up and spit him out every day of the week.

He's not anywhere near these guys - which in itself is no slur as no-one is near these guys!
 
Will be a good fight but Amir is a much more capable fighter now, which is down to Roach, he has him fighting in a more intelligent manner.

Anyways I'm more looking forward to ex "The Contender" contestant Paul Smith knocking hell out of James De Gale later on :D
