Just having a nice meal out with the old dear ( she is still chewing) and I'm still amazed at the lack of disipline installed into kids these days. Dam table next door has its kids running up and down the isles, because the flooris made of wood my dam table is jumping up and down. Why can't the parents jeep control of kids these days. Its not that big of a deal I Know but for gods sake it doesn't take much to respect other people in the restatant... Grrrr.
oh hang on waitress imteruppting now. (excuse spelling, typing in a rush on the phone)

Posting on OcUK during a meal? A first surely :p

Yeah, kids suck. You tell the parents to sort it out and you get the earful :/

the bottle of penfolds reserve is helping to dull the senses enough to let it pass me by. However I'm going to have to drive home soon..... Dilema LOL

Have you got kids?

i used to go out with my dads side of the family for meals every other sunday and my cousins were uncontrolable, sometimes they had to be taken home and still didnt learn their lesson. Since then i dont go out with them anymore even though i was told their handhelds keep them occupied.

but i agree, if not parents being able to keep them under control the manager or some staff should keep them occupied or put noticies up displaying their attitude towords hyper kids.

This is a new low. Honestly, how the chuff can you post on the net whilst being out for a meal? Takes the ****. I'd get up and walk out if I was with you :)

To be fair yes i find it annoying even though i have kids, however half the time you expect it at certain restaurants and not at others

I was in a restuarant with the kids the other week and this guy was sat there with a nice looking girl but he was texting all the time and ignoring her. She kept looking over and smiling when she caught my eye. He didn't even notice.

My rule is simple with the kids. order what you want and eat what you want but start playing up and we're leaving. If I've not finished eating at that time, I'll probably get a McDonalds on the way home and eat it in front of them.

ahh its a beefeater, what did I expect really, its not like the parents looked chavish or anything though.

Time for the coffees in peace at least.
The next table along the kids are as good as gold, got them colouring in some pictures and only talk at normal volume instead of screaming blue murder...
