Kissing girl mates

Don't worry this isn't a relationship thread and I vow to never do one!

Bit random but when you see girl mates do they kiss you on the cheek or do you kiss them on the cheek, I was just thinking about this the other day and wondering what the right etiquette was. Whats your views?

It depends on the nature of the relationship...If shes just a mate, no i wouldnt kiss her...I dont kiss my guy mates...Gilly might, but i dont..

Only reasons to do that would be if there was more to it or if you were very posh or summit.

some of the closer ones I kiss on the lips. dunno why, just have done it for years. when I usually kiss a girl mate it is "initiated" at the same time, i.e. we kiss each other on the cheek, or they kiss me first when i go to hug them.

Only close girl mates, they always kiss on hellos and goodbyes. If it's not so close girls, hugs usually suffice.

It depends which group of friends I'm out with. There's a bunch of girls I know through my ex who're pseudo-posh. They expect kisses on the cheek and hugs when I see them.

No-one else does.

Totally depends on who it is, quite a few of my French or Italian female friends will kiss on both cheeks but I've found it less common with any other other nationality. The right etiquette I'd say is to reciprocate their gesture, make the other person feel comfortable providing that you also do as well

I don't mean is it ok to kiss, I meant when you go for a cheek kiss, do you let them kiss you or do you kiss them

Female contact is good.
Any exscuse if you ask me. If a woman is friendly i will kiss her cheek on arrival and departure. Gently cupping one of her cheeks whilst i peck her for full effect. It's nice i like it. :cool:

Let them kiss you! Might be a bit gay for you to kiss them, not saying you are gay! But you get what I mean.
