Knightmare a new one off episode for youtube geekweek (monday)

I loved it. Defo like knightmare tho a little cleaned up i think, i thought for a small budget and a one off episode it did fantastic. Not sure you can expect much more really for something for youtube. But for what it was it was great i thought. Im sure if they had the old budget they used to it would look far better and the scripts would be a lot better too as they did this last minute remember.

Yes there was a few issues. Treguard was a bit grey, the old thing was a bit meh when at the start he was ancient and then revived using refresh and the spinnning thing but i just put that down due to time and budget. The room itself hes in is a bit baren but again budget.

Im trying to think of the bigger picture here. If they have a good budget and more time for scripts i think it would rock awesome socks once more. Maybe if treguard would be willing to dye his hair black he would look identical to the old one from 20 years ago.

Lizard was awesome and so was LFear. Bit fatter sure and LF helmet looked a bit daft compared to how it used to look but again budget.

I thought the dungeon looked nice in hd tho i duno not as cool as it was in s3 but again budget im sure if they had time it would look even better in hd.

Im kinda biased cos i love knightmare but i can forgive things which were out of their control tbh and it was a special one off. Personally i just loved seeing it once more.

Just watched it, was better than I thought it was going to be - but went in with low expectations which I think helped.

There was some pretty dodgy editing toward the end though, after he looked in to the spy glass for the second time.

Also did Daisy swear after the blades came down, I think she said 'What the **** was that!"

I'd guess having fairly famous by youtube standard people would bring in more young people that haven't seen the original. They are all known to be a 'bit geeky', not what I'd class as a geek but you know watched Buffy / Doctor Who kind of thing. Each one of them has a million people or more subscribed to them and loads of followers on twitter etc.
 
Sat and watched this last night. Had me giggling and cringing equally. Just as cheesy as it always was, and that's not a bad thing!
 
watched it last night. Thought it was OK. the guys playing were terrible though, much better with kids.

Would love to see more new episodes though
 
I think the only thing I found a shame was that it didn't go on for as long as I would have liked.

Barely anyone ever won and they always died in some stupid way, so they got that right!
 
I actually think Hugo Wyatt can still pull it off as Treguard. As said earlier, if he dyed his hair and beard black to look more like the old one, he could easily be capable of playing the role again for a while. The voice and expressions are still perfect.

I used to like the old set as well with the big roaring fire.
