(Kodi) Music missing on movie soundtrack

Watching a movie today and there is a band on stage, you can hear the singer and bass guitar but nothing else.
I have heard this before where people have been dancing in other films but no music so I just thought 'so what'. obviously this dosn't happen in all films.
I decided to play the film in VLC and all the music is there so I tried to adjust settings in Kodi but no luck.

Any ideas?

I forgot to mention I'm using a Firestick 4K.

Also Kodi on the PC is playing it OK

With you saying settings for Kodi and settings for the Firestick I've fixed it, I had to put Kodi on 3.1 sound.

If I leave it on 2.0 I have no music

You really are going over my head.
The Firestick in question is going into an HDMI input on a mono TV and in that particular film (and others in the past) I could only hear the bass player and singer, put KODI on 3.0 and I could hear everything.

I have no idea, works on KODI on PC, doesn't work right on KODI to my TV!

I also play my PC KODI through the same TV/Monitor as my Firestick.
