ah Cults, (or Religions as some people refer to them) the root of pretty much all the worlds conflicts.

This hillbilly in the US will just get more American and British soliders at best more problems, and at worst dead but then he's teaching them Muslims a lesson what a hero

I think you're confusing religion with politics.

I think there are more muslims ****ed off at the Taliban then there are Christians so it's kinda wrong of us to assume they are all the same when really, most of them, hate the taliban more then we do.

Did you just tell us that not all Muslims are terrorists

Interesting to see that the pastor of the church presides over an almost empty church. What better way to increase a redneck flock that to burn a religious book that is sacred to far, far more many mainstream and peaceful Muslims' than extremists.

What an idiot.

Quite simply the best thing the new media could have done to a tiny minority publicity hungry group is to ignore them. But there is no news left just sensationalism

I think it's absolutely disgraceful. Ignorant ****s.

I wonder what would happen if I went over to these inbred retards and took a nice big dump on the Bible..

I think its stupid, however I do find it funny that news/politicians etc are calling these Christians 'extremists'. Its funny to compare an extremest Muslim to an extremist Christian.

Extremist Christian: Burns a book
Extremist Muslim: Walks in to a shop and blows himself up whilst taking the lives of babies, children and adults alike in the name of their god.

**** region.

Eh, I fail to see what it's really going to do other than provoke several million idiots.

It is interesting to note, however, that this guy (pastor of a small crappy Church) is the subject of thousands of death threats, burning effigies, protests etc just because he's going to burn bits of paper.

When I see those people getting all worked up over it, I pity them. Pathetic souls.

If he wants to burn Qur'ans, then let him go ahead. These 'extremist' Muslims have no qualms burning flags, effigy and calling for our deaths.

Just because someone else overreacts stupidly (cartoons of Muhammed) there is no reason for anyone else to go out of their way to offend.

I agree.

I don't see what's wrong with burning a book that contains such evil tbh.

The same evil that is contained within the Bible? Do you actually have any idea what you are talking about or was that supposed to be a joke?

The evil is not in the book but in the mind of the person interpreting the words.

I wish the news agencies of the world had ignored this pointless non-story, it's one moron and his tiny congregation yet it has made worldwide headlines. The media has a responsibility to reprt the news not sensationalise insignificant events to provoke a reaction, I for one am disapointed this has become a lead item on the BBC and have registered my disgust.
