Lack of wasps

I wouldn't recognise bee turd if I saw it. Do you park next to a hive?

nowhere near a hive afaik, but my car is under a bee heavy traffic area :/

yellow splodges of crap all over my car daily. the pressure washer even has a hard time getting them off.

literally you clean it one day, the next it'll be covered again -_-

I've always associted wasps with an August appearance, so expect 1000's of the blighters to be wating for you...today onwards
o_O
Horrible things. Had a massive one in my hotel room last week - had to get one of the hotel employees to go in and get rid of it otherwise I would've demanded a room change :o

Yeah, even over here I've noticed a lot less of the blighters, saw a hornet when I was at a country pub at the weekend so we trapped it in a beer glass :D

I don't know, i have been severely stun before by from what i can imagine a fair few wasps straight from a nest.

I feel fine around them, i find it hilarious that people just freak out while i stand there with a wasp on my face.
Same here, I was stung multiple times when I tied myself into a rope swing and accidentally kicked a nest. I really don't care now, their stings are annoying but not all that painful, bee stings are worse from what I've heard.

Wasps contribute nothing AFAIK?

So nothing to worry about

as said, the pollinate. without bees, wasps and butterflies most plant life will die out.

although weed plants will be fine, so we are ok! :)

i dont mind bees and help them get out if they get inside. i do kill wasps though if i cant easily get them out. they are nasty little ****ers. although i really shouldnt as if bees die out we will need them.

Did it shake your hand or something?

How does a Bee 'seem to appreciate it' :p

It was swimming around in the can. When I placed it on the wall, it looked like it was just about to die. Then it started to vibrate its wings to shake the water off. Dried off and then I guess it flew off. If it didn't appreciate it, could have stung me!
