Hmmmmm starting to think you are right now. Sorry for dismissing your suggestion but having lugged my case into every orientation and shaking it, I was convinced it couldn't be that.
However, yes the level in the res increases slightly and it does hiss when you open it so the symtoms fit.
It's just how the hell you get rid of it![]()
I have always found getting the air out of a system one of the hardest aspects of watercooling.
I found the best way was not getting a lot of air in, in the first place.
When I strip down my loop, I gravity fill from the highest point. I then fill the res & turn the pump on & off to get the fluid around making sure the res is never empty.
As your loop is now filled, you have to get you res at the highest point in the loop.
I do this by putting my case on its side & removing the pump/res from the case.
I then put the pump/res higher than anything else.
I then run like this for as long as I can before Mrs Piggin gives me heartache.
I have also been known to give the case a good shake periodically.
