Anyone know what the diagnostic lights on the motherboard mean?

4 RED Diagnostic lights means that your CPU was not detected
3 means your CPU was detected, but not your ram
2 means your ram was detected, but not your video card
1 means your video card was detected, but it cant boot
0 means everthing is great and its booting to your OS

Have you checked the silly things (like is the 4 pin power plug connected)?

And have you tried clearing the CMOS?

Unfortunately it's very easy to chip the corners of the chipset core on NF4 boards so if all else fails you should probably remove the new NB cooler and inspect the core.

I suffered a chipped core on an NF4 board not too long ago.

Yeah all plugs are in and did a 4 hour CMOS clear. So i'll have to check the core tomorrow. May be a new board jobby.

One thing you might want to try is boot it with no memory installed and see if it's still the 4 lights. Then power it down again and put one dimm in the first slot and test and then the last slot if it didn't work and test again.
