Hi guys have been saving a bit and with some xmas money ive decided to replace my 12 year old dell laptop which in all fairness has been great but now showing its age even after upgrades and has to run on mains all the time.

New requirements are usual internet stuff with some word/powerpoint netflix etc etc , i would also like to be able to take advantage of my gamepass ultimate and play apex when im away on courses.

15.6 inch screen i need and budget is only around 600-650 . looking around i can maybe get a 1650 graphics card ( have not seen any 1660 or 1660ti ones within price range)

i have found the following but not sure which would be better re screen and cooling etc etc

any help would be appriciated .

ASUS TUF FX505 15.6in Ryzen5 8GB 512GB GTX1650 Gaming Laptop
  • AMD Ryzen 5 3550H processor.
  • Quad core processor.
  • 2.1GHz processor speed with a burst speed of 3.7GHz.
  • 8GB RAM DDR4.
  • 512GB SSD storage.
  • Windows 10 Home.
ACER Nitro 5 AN515-54 15.6" Gaming Laptop - Intel® Core™ i5, GTX 1650, 256 GB SSD

  • Intel® Core™ i5-9300H Processor
  • RAM: 8 GB / Storage: 256 GB SSD
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4 GB
  • 143 FPS when playing Fortnite at 1080p
  • Full HD screen

i hear there is also an hp one around my budget but i cant seem to find it

any help or suggestions would be appriciated , i wont be purchasing until january so if you think there might be a price drop on a model slightly above my budget but within range in a sale let me know

thankyou and merry xmas all
