I have a Toshiba Tecra A3x Laptop, which I would like the wife to be able to Play WOW on.

You can play now, but its a bit naff.

Could I upgrade this card....any pointers?
 
As far as I know laptop video cards cannot generally be changed, i think you might get some very expensive ones that will allow that... but its quite rare.

No hope unfortunately.

That is a budget model laptop with a low grade Intel graphics chipset and no way to upgrade it.

There are plans to release an external graphics card option for laptops with a PC-Express slot (not PCMCIA) but you don't have one of those either.
