Hey,

The screen was cracked on my netbook (PB Easynote) so I put the mobo into another donor laptop (slightly different model but same case) that had the screen in tact.

Now when I came to power it on it didn't do anything! The charging light is on but the power button does nothing. I used the power board and DC board from the other laptop so it should all be ok.

Is there anything I can try? I've taken the battery out and done the usual things and checked the connections? I can only think that I've screwed up the motherboard somehow in the transfer?

Cheers

not sure if this is relevant at all, but my dads toshiba recently died whereby the battery charged but the power button did nothing.
A tech guy from toshiba suggested trying to reset it by unplugging and taking the battery out, then holding down the power button for 10 seconds or so and while still holding the power button inserting the battery back in. it didnt work for the tosh (hardware fault) but you never know, worth a shot

other than that i dont know, loose connections? i'm no expert with this stuff
