Anyone use a laptop on a plane? In theory it should work (I am not talking about power sockets here) but how does it work in practice? Is there enough room on the fold-down table to get a normal sized (ie not a desktop replacement or anything stupid) Laptop on there?

I had visions of the kind of fail I experienced on in Standard Class on a Virgin Train last year when I could only get an airline style seat and the laptop just didnt fit.

They're much deeper on planes IIRC.

It's fine, used them lots of times when flying. And this is with budget airlines (Ryanair, Easyjet, Jet2...)

A nice extended life battery is a bonus ;)

How many more threads are we going to see for you getting ready for your flight :D
As mentioned - easily viewable! I always have it set on something soft (blanket or pillow they give you) on my lap. Don't really use the tray as the numpty in front usually leans back causing a worse angle.
Got a 9hr flight coming up this wk and managed to get the much desired 'exit' seats lol
