Largerst, bestest, fastest SATA drive for £50 (ish)

As per title.

Machine used for gaming, watching movies, music. The usual really.

Seems you can get around half a Tb for £50 but I'm a bit out of touch with which companies are doing decent drives atm. Remember Maxtors being noisy and the good ol Deathstars.

£50 ex vat and delivery or £50 all in?

£50 ex vat will only get you 400Gb (WD AAKS), all in you won't get more than 250Gb (Seagate 7200.10).

Crazy innit, how just spending a tenner or so more gets you 100gb!

That 400Gb WD sounds decent. I'll have a gander.
