laserjet vs inkjet printers

1.Lasor Printer about £60, works out cheaper if you do a great deal of documents + images in mono if that will do. Perhaps a forum member will recommend one with the price of cartridges.
2. Colour Printer again about £60[Canon ip4950] I use a Canon ip4300 using compatible ink cartridges £20 for 5x5sets of ink[black+colour] use a good brand and it still prints like new after 3 years plus its done a hell of a lot of photo and document printing.
Both will give good results.

Laserjet is better imho but the trade off is much more expensive cartridges.
When you take it to cost per print there about the same but you need to be printing hundreds of pages a month to get the value out of laserjets before the cartridge goes off.
The difference isnt as bad as it was a few years back though, Dell do a nice colour laser for about £50 the 1250c i think but the replacement carts are £80 ish.
