Hi there

OK I've been a stubborn git for weeks with board partners pushing for a deal, then refusing it due to not been good enough and continuing to work them hard to try and get somewhere.

Problem now is the huge supplies they had are essentially depleted and they are now building to demand, there is no longer an over supply so I feel this could be one of the last chance deals as such as from this point onwards 10 series won't be in over supply on any GPU and will just fall in line price wise with RTX series as prices are as follows:

1050Ti @ £149.99-£169.99
1060 6G @ £249.99-£299.99
1070 @ £349.99-£399.99
1070Ti @ £419.99-£499.99
1080 EOL (£499 guidance)
1080Ti EOL (£649 guidance)
2070 @ £569.99
2080 @ £749.99
2080Ti @ £1199.99

NVIDIA has stopped selling 10 series direct due to have no more GPU supply and giving all remaining GPU to board partners as board parters shall now fulfill 1070Ti and below.

That is about it folks, on 1080 and above the other partners have sold out, I can't really disclose performance data on RTX but I can tell you no one would be disappointing with a 1080 or 1080Ti at these prices. :)

P.S. REMEMBER FREE DESTINY 2 PC Game + DLC whilst stock last is included (1050TI not included)! :)

Is the assumption that the 2070 will offer roughly the same performance as the 1080ti?

Current assumption is that 2080 is 5-10% faster than the 1080Ti, so if roughly correct I'd expect the 2070 to come in roughly 15% ish slow than the Ti (but may be able to o/c well to compensate). November though at least, a fair wait...

Buying for longevity rather than bells and whistle visuals, is it better to buy cheap and repeat, or expensive and make it last two or three times longer? (i.e. the 1080ti vs, for example, the 6GB 1060)

Not blaming OCUK but 1-2 years later and pretty much still same price as when came out :( I got my Zotac GTX980ti Omega for £350 brand new from OCUK. Deals will be better is my thoughts. The new cards are making the 10 series look great value for money like some optical illusion. I am not fooled at this price ;)

What’s MSI / Gigabyte like for warranty?

Anything goes wrong or a problem OCUK CS can't fix Gigabyte have Reps on here that help .
Know MSI like Gigabyte and Asus have UK RMA for GPU .

Nvidia just getting more ruthless .
A lot of AIB cards are reference design and will be for a while at Nvidia's hand .

Think @Gibbo mentioned a long time ago how much it hurt when Nvidia took Titan sales in house ....
2080ti at that price level they could have to ..

Well done for driving deals !
