late night walks

anyone else go for walks really late at night?
i often go out between 11pm-3am just for the excersize and wondered if anyone else did, my wife seems to think its strange and dangerous but its rare i ever see anyone and when i do its just students who are happy from a night out.
 
Sometimes. But if i do, it's with a mate to the local petrol station for a snack. It does feel nice going outside at night and if the area i lived in wasn't such a dump, i would do it more often.
 
I have just started running and find myself going out in the early hours of the morning quite a lot. Its nice and peaceful and i dont find myself getting too warm. Also means people dont see me in my lycra shorts :p Might encounter the odd drunk guy, but its usually just a case of "Alright?" "Alright" as i wheeze past.
 
I've done it quite a few times, it's so much quieter and the cooler night air keeps your mind sharp. I do my best thinking then :)
 
Not walks but drives. Living on the coast makes for some great, quiet open window drives =]

It does, well on my car anyway, cc to 32 degrees, front windows down, the cc pumps the hot air through the floor vents and the warmth just stays there and along your mid section while your face gets cool air but you never feel cold because of the heat coming up from below - it's awesome!

The heat from my car at least, is immense, you get a blast of hot air in the face but cold air circulating around the car. Hard to explain, you really need to try it to get what i mean.

Thanks for clearing that up :) when i get a new car as mine got scrapped, Il have to give it a try :)
 
+1 for the night drives. Heating on max through the floor vents, heated seats on full, and windows down. Must watch out for deer though down here!
 
Not really late night walks but I like to just wander around Leeds when i'm not in lectures or what have you. Wander up to and around Headingley, like to explore new places and get lost. God i'm cool :cool:
 
Go for late night drives sometimes. Find is really relaxing and good if I have a load of stuff on my mind.
