Latest windows update (.NEt Framewrk) not installing?

Well, windows update keep downloading an update for .NET Framework 2.0 but everytime it tries to install it, it fails.

I've tried going on to the Microsoft update page and downloading/installing it from there but the same problem happens.

Any ideas?

Had the same problem here - seems like many other people have had similar problems with that update.

Got around it here by removing and then reinstalling .NET 2.0 and then the update worked fine.

Weird one though :confused:
