You haven't said how much you want to spend.

Also please don't type with CAPS on, its rude

If its primarily for MCE + Gaming i'll suggest LCDS because they tend to have better compatibility with PCs over DVI/HDMI especially with 1:1 pixel mapping.

Games will benefit the extra resolution that LCDs have over plasmas in the 42" range.
