Seems like this is the cheapest GT out there. Just wondering what overclock levels you have got from this card?

If i get one im gonna fit a Zalman cooler on it so i guess that would increase the overclock level

many thanks!

Albaba :)

470/1170 stupidly stable in all games. more than that is good for Atitool, BF2, FEAR and 3dM but not CSS weirdly. at these speeds i get just under 3900 in 3dmark 06 with a single core A64 @ 266*9

I think all these boards are the same, my XFX 7800GT is a poor clocker, comes clocked to 450mhz and wont go much higher than 460mhz

Not bad at all though! Over 10% increase. Is that with the stock cooler also?
What do you guys use to manage overclocking? Is coolbits any good?
Questions Questions!

I have the OCuk card, auto detects at 490/1.18 using coolbits but will run 497/1.24 without a problem.

Click the ORB link he gave... he is running 529/1174 ;):p

Suman

Meh...memory clock is still crap :p

Core is 32mhz higher, probably a slight volt mod. Doubt that would cause any problems on stock cooling. Mine only hits 55c load in a warm room anyway

i get serious sparklies at anything over 470ish and major triangles all over the place @ 1200 but only on nfsmw for some reason

not impressed with my leadtek :(

i get 490/1.18

higher memory crashes and the core at 500 gives lots of errors so i'm at 485/1.18 at the moment and will probably stay there

I tend to run it at about 470/1.12. I've got an Antec Vcool under it and that helped it stay stable and artifact free at that level. It maxes out at about 495/1.18 but that's got me over 4100 in 3dmark06 and 8300 in 05.

Sounds like a definate bargain then, i mean most of you are getting around a 20% speed increase from stock which is very good if you ask me :)

Thanks guys

Albaba
