Say I wanted my next phone to have the least possible Chinese input, what are the options? My Note 10+ was apparently assembled in Vietnam. IPhones are "designed in california, assembled in china" according to the blurb.
I am by no means any kind of expert, but I think Sony, Samsung and LG are your best bet. I know they have all at some point had Chinese manufacturing but I think it was shut down last year.
I found out that Google is shifting its Pixel manufacturing to Vietnam. Looks like there are a few non-Chinese options out there though I'm sure many components, rare metals etc are sourced in China.
